The new speaker of SMICH: Martin Leeb

Martin has been an active Faculty member of SMICH since the beginning in 2017. Together with his group, he investigates the first differentiation decisions taken during embryonic stem cell commitment and therefore tries to answer the question of how cell identities are defined and maintained to provide the right cell type at the right time for proper development.

Since October 1st, Martin follows in great footsteps as the official successor of Manuela, who had to pass on her role as speaker of SMICH when she was elected the new Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs of the University of Vienna.
