SMICH renewal granted

We are extremely excited to announce the prolongation of our doctoral program for another four years. After the interims evaluation the Austrian Science Fund granted a second funding period from 2021 to 2025. Over the course of the next weeks we will also introduce you to our new faculty members and the next student cohort joining our program in 2021 via the VBC PhD selection.

We’d like to thank our faculty for designing interesting interdisciplinary projects, mentoring and supporting their students throughout their projects and their collaborative spirit, our Scientific Advisory Board for scientific and strategic advice, obviously our reviewers for investing their time in reviewing our program and pointing out possible improvements, and most importantly our PhD students – great people doing great science!
