SMICH workshop “Viral vector delivery and genome engineering”

In the workshop held bei Gijs Versteeg the students are trained in generation and delivery of lentiviral particles for inducible expression of cDNAs and loss of function vectors carrying shRNA or CRISPR-Cas9 genetic payloads. The vectors are used to transduce both cell lines and primary mouse bone marrow cells. The participants learn basic techniques to assess transgene delivery and the effectiveness of genetic manipulation in these cells.
